We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know many of our new neighbors in Lehi and teaching kids swim skills. We enjoyed 6 years teaching group swimming lessons to kids in West Jordan prior to moving here and our neighbors sent their kids and grand kids to us. Many in Lehi have done the same. It has been an amazing experience and we are so grateful to those who put their trust in us.
However, our next door neighbor has voiced her frustration with Trent's voice volume when coaching in the pool. We thought he had reduced his volume sufficiently, but last week we discovered that was not the case.
We have decided that our desire to keep the peace with our neighbors outweighs the benefit of giving back to the community through group swimming lessons. We have benefited by getting to know so many in our area and have made many friends along the way.
